Marcelo: 300 wins and 300 league games for Real Madrid

Real Madrid beat Las Palmas at the Bernabéu in a match which saw Marcelo reach 300 victories with the Whites. The defender, who has won three Champions Leagues, two Club World Cups, three European Super Cups, four leagues, two Copas del Reys and three Spanish Super Cups, reaches this milestone in his twelfth season with the first team, where he has played 422 games and scored 29 goals.

The Brazilian’s win have come in six competitions: League (218), Champions League (54), Copa del Rey (18), Club World Cup (four), European Super Cup (three) and Spanish Super Cup (three). Of those 300 victories, 172 have come at home and 128 away.

Today we played well. At the beginning we were a little bit hesitant, but we went on to put in a good performance. We have to improve a lot of things. Benzema and Cristiano "They’ve worked hard for the team and the team has won. They looked good to me. You ask me why they haven’t scored. They’re annoyed because they couldn’t help the team with goals but the important thing was the win".
